Are you passionate about driving commercial impact and leading complex claim processes in a global Automotive environment?
At thyssenkrupp Forged Tech you will play a key role in improving profitability on a project and customer level by identifying and executing margin improvement projects including claim processes across our global business.
You will own and manage the systematic identification of customer/project profitability gaps, the investigation of root causes, the quantification of commercial damages and the initiation as well as execution of improvement projects with a focus on customer claims.

You will
- Monitor and improve project and customer profitability, identifying underperforming or loss-making cases across our global project portfolio
- Drive root cause analyses and define margin improvement measures, while collaborating with Sales, Finance, Procurement, and Operations
- Quantify commercial impact and translate into structured claims including preparation of customer communication
- Define and steer claim negotiation strategies, support negotiation processes actively or in the background
- Ensure transparency and process excellence, driving internal reporting, decision-making with top management, coaching and motivating local sales teams and continuous improvement of claim processes
- Coordinate customer-facing activities between global Sales and local Sales teams as well as with top management
- Work in a cross-functional setup with a direct reporting line in Sales and a dotted line in Finance
Profil
You bring…
- A university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Sales, Engineering or a comparable discipline
- 5–10 years of experience in the automotive industry (e.g., supplier or OEM environment in Sales, Procurement, or Program Management)
- Strong understanding of automotive customer–supplier dynamics, contractual and pricing structures and claim mechanisms
- Proven experience in commercial negotiations and the ability to operate confidently in complex stakeholder environments
- Strong conceptual mindset and ability to navigate complexity by connecting strategic goals, operational requirements and market realities into pragmatic execution plans
- Strong analytical, communication, and intercultural skills, combined with a high degree of self-driven motivation and a hands-on and team-oriented mindset
