Your responsibilities
- Supporting the digital optimization of end-to-end Order-to-Cash business workflows.
- Acting as a functional SAP SD consultant, collaborating with first-line support and key users to gather requirements and translate them into clear functional or technical specifications for the offshore development team.
- Ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules such as FI, CO, and QPPD.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of business transactions and to tackle complex issues.
- Overseeing the quality assurance process for developments delivered by offshore teams.
- Reviewing and improving current RICEFWs and troubleshooting incidents.
- Occasionally stepping into a 3rd line support rolethis involves system analysis, SAP SD configuration/customization, and development of fixes or enhancements. You will also prepare functional specs for enhancement spots, user exits, function exits, and BADIs within the SAP enhancement framework.
- Maintaining thorough documentation and ensuring effective knowledge transfer within the team.
Your profile
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Desired 3+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP SD Consultant.
- Proficiency in both English (C1 level) and German (B2-C1 level), with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Deep expertise in SAP SD customization, system administration, and integration with SAP MM and FI/CO. Familiarity with SCM-APO (gATP) and S/4 HANA is a strong advantage.
- ABAP debugging skills to analyze and resolve technical issues.
- SAP certifications are a plus.
- Solid understanding of Order-to-Cash business processes; experience in the manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
- A proactive and analytical mindset, focused on results and delivering high-quality solutions.
- A team-oriented approach with the ability to navigate and resolve problems using established tools and processes.
- Prior experience working within complex, large-scale SAP environments.
