Your responsibilities
Hybrid Cloud Management
- Design and implement hybrid cloud architectures integrating on-premises systems with private cloud platforms.
- Manage workload migration between on-premises infrastructure and private cloud environments.
- Optimize resource utilization across hybrid setups using open-source tools.
- Ensure seamless integration of Kubernetes clusters within hybrid cloud infrastructures.
Container Management
- Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes (K8s) environments for container orchestration.
- Automate container lifecycle management using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor containerized applications for performance optimization and scalability.
- Implement security best practices for container workloads in hybrid cloud environments.
General Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, cybersecurity, development) to align infrastructure solutions with business objectives.
- Automate workflows using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex system-level issues across containers and hybrid clouds.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Certifications in Kubernetes (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or relevant open-source technologies (e.g., OpenStack certifications)
- Experience with security tools like Cloud Workload Protection Platforms (CWPP) or Cloud Security Posture Management tools (CSPM)
- Analytical skills to troubleshoot complex issues across containers and hybrid clouds
- Ability to assess risks and implement mitigation strategies for system reliability
- Effective collaboration across teams to ensure smooth implementation of infrastructure solutions
Technical Expertise
- Proficiency in containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) with hands-on experience setting up K8s environments.
- Experience with open-source hybrid cloud platforms.
- Expertise in GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automation and deployment workflows.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native principles.
