Aufgaben
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Design Department Leader to lead our team in the development and integration of mechatronic products. As a key player at our Tier 1 automotive supplier, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of system design projects, ensuring innovative and reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee mechatronic system design projects from concept to production
- Implement a cutting edge system design process integrating all stakeholder needs
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff
- Develop and refine system architectures, ensuring seamless integration of mechanical, electronic, and software components
- Provide technical guidance and stay updated with industry trends
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Drive innovation and resolve technical issues
- Allocate resources according to project budgets and needs
Profil
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years industrial experience
- Proven experience in system design within the automotive industry (or similar industries)
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- In-depth knowledge of mechatronic system design and integration
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with quality, safety, and cybersecurity management systems
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations
