- Design, implement and maintain C#/.NET and Python applications, background services, libraries and interfaces for machine-level production and measurement environments
- Develop sequence tools for production and test workflows, including device interaction, execution control, status handling and diagnostics on MMCs
- Implement services for live processing and evaluating production, measurement and curve data to support traceable product quality decisions: OK / not OK (IO / NIO), based on agreed specifications and validated evaluation criteria
- Create modular, reusable architectures, standardized interfaces and shared libraries with a focus on maintainability, testability and consistent use across plants
- Use approved AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, while retaining responsibility for code correctness, testing, security and protection of confidential information
- Integrate applications with machines, PLCs, OT systems and peripherals such as scanners, printers and measurement devices using appropriate interfaces and protocols
- Connect machine-level services to data-center systems, databases and internal services, coordinating data exchange, access and security requirements with IT/OT stakeholders
- Configure and commission the software runtime on industrial PCs and MMCs
- Develop, test, validate and commission robust software for highly available 24/7 production
- Use GitLab, help automate builds, tests and deployments, manage software rollouts and updates across plants and in future introduce container technologies on machine level
- Training and support
- 2nd, 3rd level support of productive systems world wide
- Know-how support: Ensuring a structured transfer of know-how to the plants as well as within the ME organization. Promotion of active exchange with the plants to pass on experiences, best practices and lessons learned. Exchange with works regarding know-how transfer and lessons-learned

- Degree or vocational training in software engineering, computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong programming skills in C#/.NET and ideally also in Python, including software design, debugging and automated testing
- Experience developing reliable production or measurement services, including error handling, logging, diagnostics and recovery
- Practical experience with GitLab; familiarity with CI/CD, automated builds and tests
- Experience deploying, updating and supporting production software, including troubleshooting and rollback; willingness to learn container technologies
- Willingness to use AI-assisted development tools or container technologies
- Working knowledge of databases, APIs, industrial communication and interfaces to machines and peripherals
- Experience processing production and curve data and implementing product quality evaluations against defined criteria
- Good written and spoken English. German is an advantage
- Willingness to travel up to 10%, extensive rampup at HQ in Liechtenstein for trainings
