Your responsibilities

  • As CFO of thyssenkrupp Materials Trading Asia Pte. Ltd. in Singapore with around 30 employees and a current turnover of around 400 Mio. USD, you are part of the management team and responsible for the areas Controlling, Accounting, Quality Management and IT with 5 direct reports
  • You are responsible for monthly, quarter-end and annual accounts according to local law and IFRS. As such, you actively steer the relevant financial KPIs in alignment with the central finance team of thyssenkrupp Materials Trading
  • You monitor and manage risks associated with the trading business in line with business needs and according to internal and external regulations
  • You serve as a sparring partner for the CEO and front office colleagues and support business development via business plans and data-based analyses
  • In collaboration with the central IT-organization you drive digitalization initiatives and optimize the ERP-landscape
  • You report to the CEO of thyssenkrupp Materials Trading Asia Pte. Ltd. in Singapore and to the CFO of thyssenkrupp Materials Trading in Germany

Your profile

  • You have experience in a leadership role in Finance, Accounting, Controlling and/or Risk Management, preferably in an international environment and within the trading industry
  • You have in-depth knowledge of financial and management accounting, are familiar with liquidity management and capable of analyzing and managing risks
  • You have the ability to effectively communicate at eye-level across different leadership levels, towards colleagues and third parties
  • Your leadership qualities are characterized by cooperation, motivation, and assertiveness, always acting with respect and as a role model
  • In addition to a high level of self-motivation, you exhibit strong performance orientation combined with reliability
  • You are willing to relocate to Singapore, open for international business trips, and fluent in written and spoken English

From receiving your documents to acceptance: the application process

Step 1
