Your responsibilities
- Primary customer contact for all electrical/electronic scopes within a steering system project
- Supplier monitoring and supplier management of electronics hardware suppliers in the automotive industry, ensuring adherence to deadlines, costs, and quality
- Achievement of project targets for all E/E subcomponents (electric motors, sensors, electronic control units, and associated software)
- Planning of milestones and resources, project tracking, and reporting
- Setting and tracking milestones for subordinate subsystems
- System alignment for motor, sensor, ECU, wiring, and software
- Interface coordination and interface design: motor, ECU, sensor, wiring, software
- Analysis of customer specifications, breakdown and translation into internal specifications
- Approval of specifications and designs for E/E components
- Execution of risk management (identification, evaluation, controlling, etc.) for E/E scopes
- Responsibility for configuration management for E/E scopes (including version management)
- Coordination of design changes
Your profile
- University, FH, or HTL degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or physics
- Strong social and communication skills
- Project management and technical leadership experience (teams with up to 50 members)
- Competence in problem-solving methodologies: DMAIC, 8D, Fishbone, Ishikawa, etc.
- Flexibility, willingness to travel
- English skills
