🔧 We’re Hiring: General Labourer – Metal Fabrication

📍 Location: Port Coquitlam – Mustang PI
💵 Pay Range: $20.35 – $23.40/hour
🕒 Shift: Transitioning to night shift (3:30 PM – 1:30 AM)

🛠️ What You’ll Do

• Maintain or repair equipment where applicable
• Produce parts for production line required by job type specified below.
• Complete and maintain paperwork.
• Resolve/notify production issues.
• Ensure machine is calibrated & cleaned as per 6S requirements.
• Ensure working environment is clean and safe.
• Report inaccurate bill of material & routings.
• Complete quality control spot inspections/measure and confirm part specifications to drawing.
• Identify & implement process improvements.
• Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements.
• Maintain proper logins for computer system.
• Meet labour performance requirements of job routings.
• Count parts being completed.
• Required to assist other shop areas if production is slow including but not limited to: Grinding, Hardware, Packaging, Assembly, Shake-out, Deburring, Cutting, Machine loading, Tapping

Job Specific Responsibilities:

Perform a given task as per drawing and routing including but not limited to:

• Grinding, Hardware installation, Packaging, Assembly, Shake-out, Deburring, Cutting, Machine Loading, and Tapping

🧠 What You Bring to the Table

• 2+ years of experience in a metal fabrication facility
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Solid basic computer skills
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to jump in where needed
• Willingness to learn and operate additional machines
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• Certified steel-toed shoes are required on-site
