🛠️ We’re Hiring: CNC Machinist – Port Coquitlam, BC 🇨🇦
📍 Onsite | Full-Time | No Sponsorship Offered
🕕 Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Tuesday–Friday (during probation)
➡️ Shifts transition to Monday–Thursday after successful probation
📅 Probation Period: 6–12 weeks (based on experience and technical knowledge)

Thyssenkrupp Materials NA is expanding our team and looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to support our operations in Port Coquitlam, BC. If you have a passion for precision, safety, and working in a supportive environment with modern equipment — this is the opportunity for you!
What You’ll Do:
Set up and operate CNC machines, including lasers, press brakes, and punch machines.
Interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to meet specifications.
Perform routine inspections and measurements to ensure quality and accuracy.
Troubleshoot, adjust, and maintain equipment to minimize downtime.
Maintain clean and safe working conditions, adhering to all safety protocols.
Collaborate with your team to meet production goals and continuous improvement efforts.
✅ What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of CNC machining experience, including laser, press brake, and punch machine operations.
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship now or in the future.
💼 Bonus if You Have:
Forklift or crane operation experience (not required, but a plus).
Previous experience with lean manufacturing or quality programs.
Technical training or certification in machining or metal fabrication.
