Trade & Supply Chain Risk Manager
📍 Location: Southfield, MI (Hybrid)
💰 Compensation: $110K - $129K + 10% Bonus Incentive
🕒 Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for international trade, compliance, and risk management? We are looking for a Trade & Supply Chain Risk Manager to play a critical role in ensuring compliance and mitigating risks across our four distinct business divisions. If you're an expert in trade compliance regulations, supply chain due diligence, and risk analysis, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
What You’ll Do:
✅ Monitor and apply trade compliance regulations, including sanctions, embargoes, and trade restrictions
✅ Ensure accurate valuation, classification, and country of origin reporting for imports/exports
✅ Centralize and manage export/import record banks for all divisions
✅ Collaborate with stakeholders to develop unified policies for trade compliance and risk mitigation
✅ Lead supplier relationship risk management and ensure compliance with Supplier Code of Conduct
✅ Oversee risk management processes, including systematic risk assessments and action plans
✅ Ensure audits and compliance measures are in place for human and environmental rights protection
✅ Serve as a liaison with regional and global compliance partners
What You Bring:
✔ Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree + 5 years of International Trade Compliance experience or 9+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- U.S. Person designation required
- Expertise in ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations), EAR (Export Administration Regulations), and Foreign Trade Regulations
- Strong proficiency in product classification (EAR, ITAR, Harmonized Tariff Schedule)
✔ Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional experience in risk management, compliance auditing, or supplier due diligence is a plus
