💰 Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 + Bonus Potential

Thyssenkrupp Materials NA is preparing to open a new warehouse facility in Grand Rapids, MI, and we’re looking for a hands-on, people-centered General Manager to lead day-to-day operations and drive long-term success.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a trusted industry leader and build something meaningful from the ground up — with support, autonomy, and room to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all warehouse operations to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Hire, lead, and develop a team with a focus on communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Maintain compliance with safety regulations (OSHA), internal policies, and quality standards.
Monitor equipment performance, lead preventative maintenance, and recommend upgrades as needed.
Foster cross-functional partnerships with Sales, HR, and Engineering to support customer success.
Manage budgets, facility upkeep, inventory turnover, and employee development.
✅ Required Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on experience with Press Brake, Laser, and Punch machines.
2+ years in a supervisory or warehouse team leadership role.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts.
Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related fields).
⭐ Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree (MBA, Engineering, etc.).
Experience with Mastercam, SolidWorks, or CAD.
Exposure to ISO standards, labor relations, safety programs, and sales coordination.
