Aufgaben
The Supervisor of Supplier Quality Management will perform duties in regards to the supplier quality program. This team member will be responsible to ensure supplier component quality is provided in accordance to established standards and requirements. They will ensure company supplier quality objectives are met and supplier continuous improvement programs are developed and implemented.
Qualifications:
- Education: 4-Year Bachelor’s Degree in technical field
2 Years of Technical Experience
2 Years Experience in Quality
2 Years Experience in Automotive
Supplier Quality Management experience preferred - Technology: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet software; SAP; Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet and Word Processing software.
Profil
Key deliverables to ensure success are listed below:
- Supervise the local Danville Team and the Supplier Management Team of PSMA and PPOC
- Coordination and train the team in PDAN, PSMA and PPOC
- Monitor the work results of the team in PDAN, PSMA and PPOC
- Functional leadership of the commodity powder metal USA, Mexico and Brazil.
- Act as Customer Representative to ensure both Customer and tkDC requirements are addressed to suppliers.
- Ensure on audits are conducted on time.
- Responsible for 8D validation at suppliers
- Conducts APQP kick off meetings for the commodity
- Acts as the interface between project team and SQM Commodity, tracking of component status.
- Performs and supports supplier; APQP, PPAP, IMDS, change notices, and other supplier quality related activities.
- Facilitate supplier generated change and deviation requests
