Aufgaben
As the Polysius Hub Coordinator (PHC), you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers within a designated Hub of cement plants. The role focuses on developing and growing strong relationships with customers, balancing technical service offerings, and meeting customer needs. You will be responsible for service activities related to spare parts, field services, technical audits, and other related services. The PHC will coordinate closely with internal departments and promote proximity to customers by managing visits within a reasonable commute between plants.
This role requires strong technical expertise in cement technology and process, a deep understanding of customer needs, autonomy in managing service activities, and the ability to offer recommendations on parts and service. While project management for larger capex projects will be handled by a dedicated Project Manager, the PHC will play a key role in service operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the main liaison between Polysius and customers within the Hub. Develop and strengthen long-term relationships through regular site visits, service delivery, and technical consultations.
Hub Coordination: Balance time and resources between visiting sites and coordinating Hub activities across different departments within Polysius.
Technical Services: Conduct technical discussions with customers, perform inspections, deliver technical reports, and issue recommendations on spare parts and services that meet customer needs.
Autonomous Decision-Making: Take independent initiative in assessing customer needs and providing solutions. Although supported by Polysius sales and technical teams, maintain autonomy and drive in delivering the best experience for customers.
Service Focus: Oversee service-related activities such as spare parts, field services, and technical audits. Capex projects within the Hub will be managed separately by dedicated Project Managers.

In general, this position will have no direct supervisory responsibilities, occasional responsibility for a
service crew is possible.
Profil
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering
Technology or Industrial Technology; or three to four years related experience and
training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong technical knowledge of cement technology and plant processes.
Proven record of accomplishment in managing customer relationships and providing
technical support.
Ability to work independently and autonomously, managing multiple tasks across
different sites.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish credibility with
customers.
Willingness to travel frequently within the Hub area to visit customer sites.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
Technical proficiency in cement plant operations and mechanical processes.
Experience in service management, including spare parts, field services, and
technical audits.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose customer needs and offer
effective solutions.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to maintain strong customer relationships.
Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
MSHA trained and knowledge of MSHA regulations.
Ability to read and interpret hydraulic or electrical drawings is desirable.
Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Surveying experience.
Travel Demands:
This position requires extensive (70%+) travel to customer locations throughout the assigned region in the United States.
Travel outside the United States including Canada, South America, and Caribbean Islands, may be required, but is not routine.
Ability to travel and work overtime (including nights, weekends, and holidays along with working outdoors in all weather conditions).
Candidate must possess a Valid U.S. Driver’s license.
