Internship Opportunity: Production Intern

Position: Production Intern
Duration: 3 or 6 months (preferred) (Full-Time or Part-Time (min 20 hours))
Location: Onsite
Start Date: Early May 2024

Our Production Internship is tailored for current college students seeking on-the-job training and experience in a dynamic work environment. You will work cross-functionally with an array of professionals ranging from warehousing, logistics, inventory, and safety.
Key Responsibilities: As a Production Intern, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to various work assignments, projects, and activities to enhance your knowledge, skills, and abilities. Key responsibilities include:
- Generate inventory and material usage reports, identifying trends and discrepancies.
- Support the team in processing incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring accurate material receipt and dispatch.
- Participate in periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers for material deliveries, returns, or addressing quality issues.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements, receipts, issues, and adjustments.
- Learn about material control processes and suggest improvements for increased efficiency.
- Adhere to safety standards and regulatory compliance related to material handling and storage.
Qualifications: Minimum Requirements:
- Currently enrolled at an accredited university, college, technical, or vocational program.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Competitive, assertive, and self-motivated with the ability to think critically and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
