Your responsibilities

Summary

The Sales Controlling Analyst reports to the NA CAR Manager and is responsible for financial activities including operational cost planning, pricing, cost controlling, and investment approval.

Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Provides product pricing and customer quotes
  • Develops and tracks optimal for operational cost planning
  • Controls costs through identifying and addressing budget discrepancies

Specific Responsibilities of the Job

  • Assist in the annual budgeting and planning process, establishing the lines burden rates
  • Control actual versus planned costs
  • Administer and review all financial plans and compare to actual results to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate
  • Evaluate technical and financial data to develop customer quotes and selling price
  • Calculate and communicate the transfer price for other tk companies
  • Other responsibilities and projects as specified

  • Consistently analyzes financial data and keeps senior leadership abreast of the company's financial status
  • Identifies and reports financial priorities
  • Provide accurate and beneficial financial advice and recommendations
  • Ensure timely and accurate planning data and reporting

Your profile

  • Proficient in English Language
  • Demonstrates expertise in the field
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team

Qualifications

Education/Credentials/Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field
  • MBA is a plus

Length of Experience

  • 5-10 years of previous financial experience
  • Experience in manufacturing preferred

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Background and expertise in accounting and finance
  • Knowledge of production planning is a plus
  • Strong business acumen
  • Deep costing knowledge
  • Excellent written and oral language skills
  • Strong mathematical ability and financial knowledge
  • Excellent problem solving and reasoning ability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Logical thinker
  • Ability to cope with changes
  • Knowledge of SAP or other production platforms is preferred

  • Physical strength requirement is light. Ability to exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Light work usually requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
