Job Description

Position: Production Intern

Duration: 3 or 6 months - 6 preferred (Full-Time or Part-Time (min 20 hours))

Location: Onsite

Start Date: May 2024

Key Responsibilities: As a Production Intern, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to various work assignments, projects, and activities to enhance your knowledge, skills, and abilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Generate inventory and material usage reports, identifying trends and discrepancies.
  • Support the team in processing incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring accurate material receipt and dispatch.
  • Participate in periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for material deliveries, returns, or addressing quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of material movements, receipts, issues, and adjustments.
  • Learn about material control processes and suggest improvements for increased efficiency.
  • Adhere to safety standards and regulatory compliance related to material handling and storage.

Qualifications: Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled at an accredited university, college, technical, or vocational program.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Competitive, assertive, and self-motivated with the ability to think critically and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
