Your responsibilities
As a Process Safety Manager, you will collaborate across departments to ensure compliance with internal standards, local and federal regulations, and customer requirements. Responsibilities include:
- Staying up to date with the latest regulations and standards related to Process Safety
- Establishing and monitoring Process Safety KPIs
- Managing MOC (Management of Change) processes and supporting PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) activities
- Reviewing PHA results for quality, completeness, and thoroughness
- Tracking and ensuring timely resolution of action items from audits, PHAs, and other safety assessments
- Participating in selected Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs) and reviewing site PSSRs for quality and completeness as required
- Providing expert technical support to resolve critical regulatory and compliance issues
Your profile
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated professional with a strong background in industrial process safety. The ideal candidate will bring:
- A degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical field
- At least 10 years of professional experience in process safety or HSE roles. Preferred within an electrochemical or chemical industry setting
- Proven experience in commissioning, project execution, and site-based operations
- Strong familiarity with international safety standards and regulatory frameworks
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 50%
- A confident approach to working in diverse cultural environments, ideally with prior exposure to projects in Asian and Middle Eastern regions
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
