Your responsibilities
You will lead international EPC projects in chemical and industrial plant construction, with a mandate to translate strategic opportunities into successful project delivery. This includes overseeing FEED-to-EPC conversions, consortium-driven mega-projects, and ensuring flawless execution in line with contractual commitments and corporate goals.
Your role is pivotal in integrating strategy, governance, and execution, providing a unified leadership interface to clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
I. Executive Project Leadership- Full Accountability: Assume end-to-end responsibility for project performance scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk across all phases.
- Governance & Compliance: Chair Project Steering Committees, ensure adherence to corporate governance, and drive decision-making at executive level.
- Financial Stewardship: Own project P&L, ensuring profitability through proactive cost control, risk mitigation, and value engineering.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the senior executive interface, building trust and shaping long-term partnerships through strategic engagement and negotiation.
- Commercial Strategy: Contribute to bid strategies and contract negotiations for mega-projects, ensuring alignment with risk/reward objectives.
- Consortium Leadership: Represent the company in joint ventures and consortium boards, ensuring clarity of roles and seamless collaboration.
- Team Empowerment: Lead large, diverse project organizations in a matrix environment, fostering a high-performance culture and One Team mindset.
- Talent Development: Mentor senior project managers and functional leads, building organizational capability for future growth.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation in project delivery models, digitalization, and sustainability initiatives.
Your profile
- Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Process, or related) or equivalent.
- Extensive leadership experience in EPC projects within chemical or industrial plant construction.
- Proven track record of delivering mega-scale projects (>500M) as Project Director or equivalent senior leadership role with an EPC contractor.
- Strong exposure to FEED-to-EPC conversion and complex contractual frameworks.
- Experience in execution of consortium and/or joint-venture projects is mandatory.
- Strategic thinker with a decisive, results-oriented approach and strong business acumen.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of EPC commercial models and risk management.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and project control systems.
- PMI, IPMA, or equivalent preferred.
- High sense of responsibility, resilience, intercultural competence, and willingness to travel internationally.
