Your responsibilities
- Assisting in the assembly, mechanical commissioning, and installation of systems
- Assembling equipment/production tools/grippers according to drawings and customer standards ("guiding principles") or assembly guidelines
- Performing adjustments or rework as needed
- Setting pneumatic components (pressure regulators, dampers, sensors) to ensure process-safe operation
- Repairing production tools under supervision from the site supervisor
- Assisting with fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Making parameter adjustments and verifications
- Conducting test runs on equipment and documenting results
Your profile
- Vocational training in a metalworking profession (e.g., tool mechanic, industrial mechanic, locksmith, turner)
- Proficient in measuring, scribing, filing, sawing, drilling, thread cutting, and manufacturing fits
- Experience with machine tools such as turning, milling, grinding
- Mechanical assembly and testing of components/systems
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and bill of materials; create sketches
- Skilled in selecting tools and materials; inspecting and maintaining equipment
- Knowledge of pneumatic circuit diagrams and controls
- First professional experience in plant construction and component/system assembly
- Proficient in MS Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel), SAP, and 3D viewer software
- Willingness for international travel (~50%), valid driver’s license and fitness for air travel
