Your responsibilities
- Assisting with the assembly, mechanical commissioning, and installation of systems
- Assembling fixtures and equipment according to drawings or guidelines
- Performing adjustments or rework as needed or coordinating such activities
- Conducting and optimizing all system start-ups of system components
- Setting pneumatic components (balancing units, pressure springs, dampers, stops, initiators, throttles) and sensors to ensure process safety functions
- Repairing operating resources under instructions/guidance from the site supervisor
- Participating in fault diagnosis and troubleshooting analysis
- Adjusting and verifying parameters before testing runs
- Conducting test runs on equipment and preparing corresponding documentation
- Setting up, aligning, and optimizing media supply according to manufacturer specifications (technology packages)
- Addressing defects/open issues until complete acceptance by the end customer
Your profile
- Vocational training in a metalworking profession (e.g., toolmaker or industrial mechanic)
- Skilled in measuring, marking out, filing, sawing, drilling, threading, and manufacturing fits
- Experienced in operating machine tools (lathes, milling machines, grinders) and in plant construction or system installation, with abilities in mechanical assembly and inspection
- Capable of selecting tools and materials independently, inspecting and maintaining resources, and documenting activities
- Able to assess material properties and interpret technical drawings and pneumatic diagrams
- Familiar with transport, lifting, securing equipment, and applying pneumatic controls
- Proficient in MS Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel), SAP, and 3D viewer software
- High willingness for international travel (~90%), valid driver’s license and fitness for air travel
- Basic German or advanced English skills (at least B1)
