Your responsibilities
To act as technical leader, expert and mentor in the C&I department. This includes technical responsibility for the department`s input related to proposals and contracts.
Ensure that designs and technical solutions are produced in a professional and cost-effective manner, to high standards.
Have engineering integrity and comply with legal and industry requirements as well as Uhde and Client specifications.
To keep abreast of all projects executed within the department by performing regular team meetings and maintaining the project dashboard and manpower resourcing tool.
The C&I Manager will serve as the single technical point of contact within this field internally, to the relevant BUs and to clients. She / He remains the liaison with Business Lines ensuring that the department grows in line with present and future requirements.
Manage all C&I Dept personnel and day to day issues within the department.
The incumbent must understand the requirements of all other engineering departments and ensure project execution supports this.
To grow/ upskill the Dept in line with Business Objectives and Strategies.
Manage the Dept’s budget.
Your profile
BSc Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree with a minimum of 20 years engineering experience.
Experience in Oil and Gas/ PetroChemical environment is essential.
Experience with an EPC Contractor is essential.
Managerial skills are essential for this position.
Pr. Eng. registration with ECSA.
