Your responsibilities
Essential Duties:
Perform operations of machining centers. Organize cell workflow and properly plan necessary machining sequence(s). Meet inspection requirements in compliance to customer drawings, referenced specifications.
Individual Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Maintains a safe, clean working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace
- Assure that products meet customer expectations.
- Assure that all manufacturing and quality related tools/materials are in calibration and of the latest revision
- Plan machining by having a fluent understanding of assets and related equipment.
- Review all specifications and prints/drawings and programs and understand all GD&T requirements for any given process.
- Machine set-up along with program downloading and editing fluency. G & M codes, asset control knowledge ‘Fanuc or Siemens’ interface
- Understanding of tooling, knowledge of turning and drilling
Team Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Calibrate and ensure proper use and care of inspection and test equipment
- Maintain work area in compliance with good housekeeping practices
- Provide feedback for C.I. and any issues necessary for compliance
- Make and populate Daily T.P.M. / 6s operator interface checks
- Collect quality target data for reporting by CNC Machining Cell
- Participate in company promoted events such as 6s, TPM and other operational C.I. programs
Export Control:
This position requires access to export-controlled technical data or technology. Employment is contingent upon thyssenkrupp's ability to obtain any required export authorization from the appropriate government agency or agencies.
