Job Summary
To establish labor standards and to resolve questions relating to job utilization andperformance. To estimate labor standards for specific products, and assist the engineering
department management to evaluate capital equipment requests. Also works on studies
relating to work method, and establishes a format to be used in the development of standard
data.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Establish labor standards and the review and auditing of performance to these standards. Labor standards are established through the use of time studies using conventional stopwatch techniques, or through the use of pre-determined time systems.
- Establish the format to be used in the development of standard data and the use of worksampling techniques to resolve questions of operator utilization or performance.
- Preparation of detailed layouts of plant facilities to optimize utilization and product flow
- Estimates labor standards for new or revised products.
- Assists management in evaluating capital equipment requests.
- Improve efficiency for all manufacturing processes
- Delivering quality engineering production solutions in response to manufacturing and operational needs
- Planning, determining, coordinating, and controlling the processes concerning to production
- Analyzing and resolving problems as a fellow member of the manufacturing production crew
- Providing technical expertise and coaching to resolve any processing issues, creating and ensuring the execution of correct action
- Examining products to validate conformance to direct set-up, specifications and adjustments of various machines
- Project manager non-standard customer orders from initial quotation through to shipping to the customer; manufacturing review, capability, material availability, inspection points, tooling, added operations, etc.
- Suggesting and driving changes in working environment conditions and equipment's usage to increase the overall efficiency of the production operation
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Actively participate in and support the Lean Program

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- College degree or certificate program in technical related field
- One or more year’s relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related area
- 3-5 years in a Manufacturing related environment
