Your responsibilities
As a HSE Project Manager, you will be responsible for all health, safety, and environmental aspects throughout the entire project lifecycle - from bid phase to execution. Your responsibilities include:
- Developing and issuing the HSE Project Program, defining the core components of the HSE management system
- Ensuring effective communication and coordination with Client Representatives
- Contributing to the preparation of procedures and work processes across all functional areas
- Establishing a schedule for audits and reviews to ensure consistent HSE surveillance
- Conducting regular evaluations of HSE procedures in collaboration with the Project Management team
- Ensuring all project personnel are aware of and aligned with HSE objectives and requirements
- Working closely with discipline leads and managers on all HSE-related matters
Your profile
We are seeking a highly experienced and committed HSE professional with a strong background in industrial project environments. The ideal candidate will bring:
- A degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field
- At least 10 years of professional experience in HSE roles within large-scale industrial projects, preferably in the electrochemical or chemical industry
- Proven track record in managing HSE aspects during project execution, including site-based operations and commissioning
- Solid understanding of international HSE standards and regulatory frameworks
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 50%
- A confident and adaptable approach to working in diverse cultural settings, ideally with prior experience in Asian and Middle Eastern regions
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
