Your responsibilities
- Overseeing sales, purchase, and general ledger processes, including credit control and invoice approval
- Supporting the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and monthly/yearly management accounts
- Preparing statutory accounts under FRS101 and coordinating the external audit process
- Managing financial control systems and cash flow management
- Supporting tax processes, particularly VAT returns and tax reporting
- Assisting with payroll processing, payment authorizations, and banking operations
- Managing SAP@Kons and handling tax queries from German employees
Your profile
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Several years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of German tax law and accounting
- Experience working with Microsoft Business Central and SAP@Kons is preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Strong analytical and structured working style with a keen attention to detail
- Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
