Your responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform on-site measurements and inspections to evaluate rotary kiln and mill condition
Analyze measurement data and inspection results
Prepare written reports, for customer use, that detail measurement and inspection results and provide the basis for parts and service recommendations
Meet with customer representatives, such as engineers or plant managers, to discuss equipment condition and provide recommendations regarding replacement of parts, scheduled maintenance and/or repair needs.
Guide and advise others in performing equipment installation, inspection, and maintenance.
Maintain equipment, tools, and work area in a clean and orderly manner
This is an advisory position with no direct subordinates. Advisors are occasionally responsible for the day to day supervision of A-C Equipment Services or customer maintenance personnel for limitedduration projects.
Ensure that Company safety policies, including all procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to at all times.
Demonstrate a commitment to safety

This position will have no direct supervisory responsibilities

Your profile

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology or Industrial Technology; and/or 3 years related experience and training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Required Knowledge & Skills:
This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical data and drawings
Effective written and verbal communication skills are required.
Ability to respond quickly, decisively, and appropriately to equipment problems is very important.
Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel


Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with rotating equipment (i.e. kilns, mills, etc.)
Experience in the paper, cement, mining, or mineral industries
Surveying experience
Experience with OSHA or MSHA regulations
Ability to speak fluent Spanish is desirable
Candidate must poses a valid US passport and driver's license.

The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and extreme heat.
The work requires using ladders, scaffolding, and catwalks to access elevated areas.
The noise level in the work environment is sometimes loud.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee must be able to comply with Company safety procedures (including use of personal protective equipment) at all times.
Due to the nature of the job, employees are required and must be able to wear personal protective equipment at all times. These include, but are not limited to, steel-toed boots, fall protection, respirators, hearing protection, safety glasses, hardhats, face shields, and face coverings (if mandated).


Travel Demands:
Up to 75% Travel. This position is based in Milwaukee, WI and requires extensive travel to customer locations throughout the United States. Travel outside the United States including Canada, South America, and Caribbean Islands, may be required but is not routine.
