Summary
The Quality Technician reports to Quality Machining and is responsible for the inspection of finished products for quality standards, scrap collection, and assisting quality engineers.

- Inspect and designate parts in quality hold cage
- Check parts for quality standards
- Collect and track scrap
Your profile
Specific Responsibilities of the Job
- Inspect parts in quality hold; categorize as disposition, scrap out, or return to line; spray paint mark accordingly
- Collect scrap from appropriate production lines
- Audit products prior to shipment
- Perform scheduled quality audits such as tag audits verifying correct gear and serial number matches tag
- Check crankshafts for contamination such as dust or debris
- Respond to machine operator questions pertaining to quality
- Provide information to and assist quality engineers
- Review product tags for correct information

- Provide valuable updated information to quality engineers
