Your responsibilities

  • Perform continuous improvement and retrofitting on machinery at plant and train local staff to diagnose and repair machinery
  • troubleshoot, diagnose and repair plant equipment, which includes checking voltages, changing out bad components, switching out gauges, as well as making camera and software adjustments
  • perform PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming and diagnose machine faults and failures
  • research and recommend machine control upgrades to address outdated controls
  • document changes to electrical drawings and generate upgraded drawings
  • prepare daily log reports and document/track the off- shift activity to ensure proper follow up on machine problems and repairs
  • assist E-Techs and work on special projects, including machine function additions and troubleshooting, and repairing plant equipment
  • add PLC relay outputs based on customer requests.

Your profile

  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Electrical and Electronics, or Controls and Automation Engineering or foreign equivalent degree.
  • 1 year of work experience within an industrial crankshaft forging facility as a Mechanical Engineer, Fabrication or HVAC Technician, or Plant Electrician.
  • Must have 1 year of work experience with each of the following: troubleshooting electronic controls in an industrial crankshaft manufacturing plant
  • working with Fanuc and ABB robot electronic maintenance and programming to repair equipment within the Industrial crankshaft forging facility working with Fanuc, Siemens and Allen Bradley control systems to troubleshoot and repair those control systems. Wage range: $89,419 to 95,000 per year.
