Purchasing Assistant
Onsite | Santa Fe Springs, CA
$50,000 – $55,000 base salary

We’re hiring a Purchasing Assistant to support our onsite purchasing operations in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys working cross‑functionally with vendors, sales, and receiving teams.
What You’ll Do
- Obtain and verify vendor order acknowledgements
- Provide purchase order updates to sales (dates, delays, changes)
- Assist with PO updates, including costs and delivery dates
- Reconcile invoice discrepancies with buyers
- Partner with receiving to share required paperwork
- Build working relationships with vendor contacts
- Support consignment management and system updates
- Maintain reports, records, and On‑Time Delivery data
- Communicate clearly with internal teams and vendors
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 6–12 months of relevant experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Associate’s Degree
