Your responsibilities
Forge
- Select correct tooling for the job task and correctly set up the tools required
- Ensure die alignment; make necessary adjustments
- Load billets onto conveyor
- Manually flip forging from die impression
- Engage and monitor robots for operation and setup
- This is onsite at Veedersburg, IN
Final Control
-
- Visually inspect the part for defects such as seams, material handling marks, laps, and under fill
- Conduct Brinell Hardness test periodically according to procedures
- Grind out imperfections
- Upkeep and maintenance of shot blast and final control booth
