Your responsibilities

  • Regular active participation in the company’s continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Compliance with, adherence to, and ongoing improvement of the company’s environmental and occupational health and safety guidelines and objectives.
  • Co-development of the global sustainability management system and the sustainability strategy in procurement.
  • Ongoing evaluation and implementation of governmental and customer requirements regarding sustainability in the supply chain, such as the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG), CBAM, EUDR, and others.
  • Definition and training of processes for implementing sustainability requirements in procurement and continuous improvement of these processes.
  • Key user of the supplier tool for risk monitoring under the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (Prewave).
  • Training and management of key users for the Prewave at international locations.
  • Monitoring and maintenance of the Supply Chain Act (SCA) tool.
  • Initiating measures for risk mitigation in the SCA tool (e.g., internal LkSG checklist, internal and external questionnaires such as NQC, external sustainability audits at suppliers, as well as initiating and following up on corrective actions with suppliers).
  • Development, communication, and implementation of a global ESG procurement strategy regarding Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) in Scope 3 (hotspot analyses for acquisition, preparation of reports for tkAG, etc.).
  • Ensuring the continuous collection of CO supplier primary data and integration into the sourcing process.
  • Analysis and evaluation of CO supplier primary data to determine the Product Carbon Footprint (PCF).
  • Creation of transparency in the supply chain (PCF of all purchased parts, communication of the tkBI sustainability strategy to the supplier base, identification of opportunities/risks in the current supplier portfolio, etc.).
  • Definition and monitoring of a PCF reduction pathway with suppliers.
  • Definition, evaluation, and monitoring of sustainability KPIs in procurement.
  • Preparation and delivery of sustainability training sessions for suppliers.
  • Supporting the procurement department in sustainability-related matters.

Your profile

  • Completed degree in Sustainability Management, Business Administration, Economics, Political Science, or a comparable field of study with a focus on human rights due diligence in global supply chains and/or sustainability.
  • Very advanced English, German would be a benefit
  • Good communication, solution-orientated, team-oriented
  • Several years of professional experience, preferably in the automotive industry or in a sustainability consultancy.
