Your responsibilities
The Supplier Risk Manager is responsible for systematically identifying, assessing, and mitigating supplier-related risks across the global supply base. This role ensures business continuity, reduces supply chain vulnerabilities, and provides early warnings on potential supplier failures or disruptions.
1. Risk Framework
- Define and maintain the supplier risk management framework.
- Establish risk categories and assessment methods.
- Ensure alignment with corporate risk policies.
2. Risk Monitoring
- Monitor supplier financial health and capacity.
- Track geopolitical and market risks.
- Identify critical suppliers and components.
3. Risk Mitigation
- Develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.
- Support dual sourcing and supplier diversification.
- Escalate high-risk cases to leadership.
4. Reporting
- Maintain supplier risk dashboards.
- Provide input to management reviews.
- Document lessons learned from disruptions.
5. Collaboration
- Partner with Commodity Managers and BU procurement.
- Align with Legal, Compliance, and Operations.
- Support crisis teams during escalations
Your profile
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Risk Management, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years’experience in supplier risk, procurement, or supply chain.
- Strong knowledge of financial, operational, and geopolitical risk factors.
- Experience with risk management tools and frameworks.
- Crisis management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Analytical and strategic thinking.
- Knowledge of global supply markets and risk management.
- Languages: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
