Aufgaben
- Drive sustainable value creation for thyssenkrupp Decarbon Technologies (DT) by shaping strategy and promoting a culture of innovation and excellence across business units.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, technologies, and business models to support overall strategy development.
- Advise Segment and Business Unit Boards on strategic implications of market shifts, customer needs, and innovation opportunities.
- Portfolio management, M&A scouting and support
- Review and support BU business plans and the consolidated Segment Business Plan in alignment with corporate functions.
- Annual strategic review and Business plan for DT segment jointly with corporate functions
- Sout & support investment planning across product groups and developing regional strategies & tailored business models.
- Manage strategic partnerships and coordinate with relevant line functions.
- Contribute to the strategic framework and steer initiatives alongside initiative owners, defining go-to-market strategies with Business Development and Sales.
- Support business units in strategy development aligned with DT’s overarching strategic goals.
- Manage strategic projects tied to portfolio expansion and business innovation, in collaboration with Innovation/R&D.
- Evaluate alternative business models with BUs to build competitive advantage and identify growth opportunities.
- Lead strategic scouting, including identification and assessment of M&A, JVs, partnerships, and related business cases.
- Identify levers for competitive advantage via differentiation, innovation, or cost leadership.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on markets, customers, and products.
- Prepare and support Cx-level customer briefings to ensure aligned external messaging.
- Handle ad-hoc strategic requests and business ideas from Business/Operating units.
- Provide strategic support for Board-level decision-making on an ad-hoc basis.
Profil
- You can look back on at least seven years of relevant professional experience and have proven yourself as a successful project manager at one of the leading top management consultancies or multinational conglomerate in corporate strategy roles.
- You have Master's/Diploma degree preferably in Engineering or economics - additional qualifications such as a PhD or MBA are welcome.
- Experience in working with corporate decision makers, contractors, and internal & external stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset, able to contribute to strategy development of the Process Technology organization.
- Proven records of leading international teams respective intercultural awareness and ability to leverage cultural differences.
- Drive and able to work under high pressure while still meeting the highest level of results.
- A strong customer orientation as well as a keen sense of interdisciplinary collaboration.
- You have gained international experience and can express yourself in a precise and structured manner in English. Additional language is a plus.
