Your responsibilities
As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for driving the continuous improvement and sustainable execution of Integrated Management System activities across Uhde. Your main responsibilities include:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the global Integrated Management System (IMS) with focus on ISO 9001 and industry standards.
- Drive global implementation of IMS and Quality Management requirements, ensuring effective communication and document governance.
- Ensure effective dissemination of IMS documents, including internal and external technical standards.
- Lead Business Process Management initiatives, monitor process maturity, and ensure compliance.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through training, audits, and best practice implementation.
- Plan and execute internal audits, consolidate findings, and oversee preventive measures and corrective actions for nonconformities.
- Prepare Management Reviews, monitor KPIs, and provide data-driven insights for risk mitigation and performance improvement.
- Lead global quality and continuous improvement projects across the organization.
Your profile
- University degree in engineering, ideally with a commercial qualification (e.g., MBA) or business administration (or similar).
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in quality management, preferably in plant engineering.
- Proven experience in audit techniques and reporting with relevant certifications, e.g. certified Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 and additional certifications in Quality Management.
- Proven experience in Six Sigma and Lean Management is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, especially at management level.
- Excellent moderation and presentation abilities.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Project Management expertise with the ability to lead initiatives across global teams.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools.
