Your responsibilities
We are looking for experienced Senior Piping Designer with relevant design house experience to assist the Piping Engineering Department.
The successful candidate will be required to fulfil the job as summarised below, but not limited to:
- Front end Petro Chemical Piping Design
- Plot Plan Development and equipment arrangements
- Columns, Drums. Pumps, Re Boilers, Heat Exchangers. Air Coolers, Reactors, Compressors, Fired Heaters, Pipe Racks etc.
- OBL Tank Farms, Utilities, Cooling Towers, Steam Generation Plants, Sleeperways, Firewater Reticulation, Underground Piping Networks
- Tie In Design Generation of Tie in Package
- Pipe Supports, knowledge of stress requirements associated with Piping Design, Piping Specifications, Line Lists, Mto’s etc.
- Checking of other team member’s designer’s work.
Your profile
The ideal candidate must be in possession of a B.Tech /National Diploma.
Applicants should have a minimum of 10 15 years relevant design experience in the Petro Chemical and Chemical industry.
The incumbent needs to have experience in the below:
- Implementation of Project Standards and Specifications
- Experience in piping and equipment layout based on Local and International requirements
- ASME / API Standards for Pressure Piping
- ASME / ANSI Standards for Piping Components. International Standards for Piping Design, Selection and Manufacturing
- Local and Statutory Standards and Specifications
