Aufgaben
The Leader of the Product Owner Chapter is shaping and refining the practice and methodology for Product Owners. They offer strategic direction, assistance, and mentorship to chapter leads, cultivating a united and high-performing community of professionals within the organization.
- The Senior Chapter Lead (SCL) oversees the Product Owner chapter and defines processes for software-level project management, including feature rollout/release planning, backlog creation, impact analysis, metrics, and reporting.
- The Chapter comprises 35 Product Owners, managed by 6 Product Owner Chapter Leads. Product Owners are accountable for software delivery in an agile-hybrid delivery model and report to Tribe Leads.
- In addition to process definition, the SCL regularly conducts project deep-dives to ensure adherence to processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- The SCL dedicates significant time to coaching and mentoring Product Owners and Product Owner Chapter leads, developing personal development plans.
- SCLs aim to optimize workflow efficiency in the related chapters.
- This role fosters collaboration and communication among other Engineering chapter leads, such as Architecture, SW Development, SW Integration, and SW Testing. They promote knowledge sharing, best practices, and cross-chapter initiatives, ensuring effective communication channels for collaboration and insight sharing among chapter leads.
- The Senior Chapter Lead collaborates closely with Process and PMO organizations to formulate and implement the organization’s process and quality strategy.
Profil
- More than 5 years of professional experience in project management, with leadership responsibilities
- Expertise in Agile Scrum/Kanban product delivery and deep knowledge of software project management
- Experience in people management and aligning stakeholders
- Proactive individual with a demonstrated ability to drive impact and effect change
