Your responsibilities

  • Set up our operations in Istanbul from the ground up including office setup, local processes and personnel structure
  • Drive trading activities in raw materials and steel across Turkey, Central Asia and beyond
  • Develop strong supplier and customer networks, identify new business opportunities, and manage commercial negotiations
  • Manage trading risks such as credit exposure, market volatility, and supply disruptions
  • Collaborate internationally with our global trading teams and management to align strategy and growth initiatives
  • Always adhere to country-specific and company-internal compliance requirements as well as legal regulations

Your profile

  • Several years of experience in commodity trading of raw materials, finished and semi-finished steel products or related commodities
  • Excellent market knowledge, an existing network of industry contacts and knowledge of country-specific market regulations
  • Strong intercultural skills and proven negotiation expertise
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and establish new structures
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills - additional language skills are an advantage
  • Willingness to relocate to Istanbul and thrive in a multicultural, fast-paced environment

You are an experienced Trader ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a self-driven, entrepreneurial Trader to establish and lead our new office in Istanbul, one of the key commodity trading hubs. In this strategic role, you will be at the forefront of building and leading our regional presence: Setting up the office, defining the local structure and driving trading activities in raw materials and steel. You will represent our company as the Head of our Turkey and Central Asia operations, building strong and lasting relationships in the region. Candidates with experience in related commodities are also welcome.

From receiving your documents to acceptance: the application process

Step 1
