Aufgaben
Position Summary: Operate lift trucks, overhead crane, hand trucks, manipulators, and all other material handling equipment to move material and finished parts throughout the various departments.
Individual Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Maintains a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace
- Perform duties to assist the Press Operator in making proper size billets
- Direct material handler in proper location of material on transfer table
- Place shovel of coal on billet when billet is sticking to die
- Use broom to sweep scale off platen. Use long tongs to place slugs in scrap barrel. Keep punches sorted by size
- Assist Press Operator in changing platens and dies and performing minor repairs and adjustments as required
- Relieves Press Operator, if required
- Ability to work in and develop a team atmosphere with co-workers
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Export Control: This position requires access to export-controlled technical data or technology. Employment is contingent upon thyssenkrupp's ability to obtain any required export authorization from the appropriate government agency or agencies
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanic parts. High heat in summer months.
