Job Summary

We prefer candidates based in Rhode Island, the broader New England region, New York, or Pennsylvania, but for the ideal candidate, an affordable relocation package is available.
What You’ll Do:
✔️ Lead production and distribution activities to meet operational goals
✔️ Teach, coach, and guide your team on safety, equipment use, and process excellence
✔️ Manage schedules, priorities, and performance, ensuring quality standards and team success
✔️ Handle performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary processes with fairness and consistency
✔️ Maintain accurate records, reports, and communication with internal and external stakeholders
✔️ Drive safety culture — monitor conditions, address issues, and ensure a safe work environment
✔️ Apply problem-solving tools like 8D, 5 Why, and Kaizen to continuously improve operations
✔️ Collaborate cross-functionally to support business growth and customer satisfaction
This position works directly on the warehouse floor, near heavy machinery — a safety mindset is essential.
What You Bring to the Table:
✅ 5+ years of slitting operations experience — Required
✅ 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment — Required
✅ 3+ years of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience — Required (report generation, analysis, presentations)
✅ Strong communication, team-building, and organizational skills
✅ Ability to work cross-functionally and influence team performance
✅ SAP knowledge — a plus
✅ Safety-first mindset and demonstrated leadership success
✅ Authorized to work in the U.S. — No sponsorship available
✅ Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening (This is a safety-sensitive position; includes marijuana testing per applicable laws)
Preferred Extras:
✔️ Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
✔️ Knowledge of metals processing, staging, packaging, and shipping
✔️ Exposure to ISO standards, lean practices, safety programs, or sales functions
✔️ First Aid and CPR certification
