Operation Process Manager at tk Accelis Materials Plus
Location: Southfield, MI (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite Required)
Please Note: This role requires regular onsite presence (3 days per week) at our Southfield, MI location.
No relocation assistance is available.

We are seeking a Operations Process Manager to drive business performance, operational excellence, and cross-functional alignment. This is not an IT role—this position is a key partner to business leadership, focused on improving operations, delivering insights, and leading impactful initiatives across the organization.

What You’ll Do
Business Performance & Insights
- Define, monitor, and analyze metrics to assess overall business health
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
Executive Reporting & Leadership Support
- Create executive-level presentations and reporting materials
- Support leadership meetings through reporting, documentation, and follow-ups
- Communicate operational trends, key findings, and recommendations
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Drive adoption of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
- Support consistent execution of operating discipline processes
- Identify inefficiencies, performance gaps, and standardization opportunities
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with stakeholders across business units, operations, IT, and leadership
- Align priorities, goals, and expectations across teams
- Build strong relationships to improve consistency and execution
Project & Initiative Support
- Lead small to mid-sized improvement initiatives
- Support larger projects alongside Project Managers
- Assist with requirements gathering, coordination, and implementation tracking
- Facilitate workshops, process reviews, and workflow optimization sessions
- Develop project charters, business cases, and documentation
Process Documentation & Governance
- Maintain SOPs, workflows, and process documentation
- Monitor compliance against performance targets and standards
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in data analytics, continuous improvement, project management, or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience developing and tracking KPIs
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar)
- Proficiency with tools such as Power BI and other reporting/analytics platforms
- Experience with process mapping and workflow documentation
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting PMO or operational excellence functions
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Exposure to AI-enabled analytics or automation tools
Compensation & Additional Details
- Salary Range: Up to $101,000 (based on experience, skills, and qualifications)
- Travel: Up to 25%
