Your responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Method Development: Design and implement new approaches for evaluating key aspects of spring and stabilizer development from design till serial production; optimize design tools in regards of prediction quality and design for manufacturing
- Validation & Analysis: Analyze and validate empirical results to ensure method development and process optimization
- Guideline Creation: Develop and maintain internal guidelines and software (e.g. analytical, FE-simulation based) for applying empirical findings in series production (e.g. manufacturability criteria, life prediction, process parameters)
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, process engineering and production to ensure alignment and integration of new methods
- Engineering Support: Provide expert input to development teams across locations, supporting serial development teams with technical assessments and process recommendations
Your profile
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Virtual Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in process development, experimental design (DOE), and method creation & validation
- Expert-Level knowledge of simulation tools (FEA)
- Knowledge of coding or other digitalization methods (word to code, AI prompting etc) is a plus
- Strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes, preferably in metal forming and automotive components
- Sufficient English skills needed; German, Chinese, Spanish or Hungarian is a plus
