Role Overview
The ERP Site Coordinator is the central point of contact for all Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system activities at the construction site. This role ensures the effective utilization and integration of the ERP system across engineering, procurement, and construction phases to facilitate data-driven decision-making, optimize resource allocation, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- System Operation & Coordination: Act as the primary operator and coordinator for the ERP platform at the site, ensuring seamless integration and data flow between site activities and the main office functions (Engineering, Procurement, Supply & Fabrication).
- Data Management & Reporting: Collect, validate, and manage real-time project data within the ERP, including progress measurement & progress tracking for construction/erection & commissioning/start-up, completion management, material usage. Generate regular project status reports and dashboards.
- Module Management: Manage and utilize various ERP modules relevant to construction, completion management and specifically for Material/Store Management such as inventory and warehouse management, procurement and supplier management, equipment tracking, and document control.
- Procurement & Inventory Support: Coordinate the procurement process through the ERP system, including generating material indents, tracking purchase orders, monitoring vendor deliveries, and managing onsite inventory levels to prevent shortages or overruns.
- User Support & Training: Provide first-level support and training to site personnel (engineers, supervisors, subcontractors) on ERP functionalities, ensuring user adoption and accurate data entry.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation and improvement within the ERP workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity at the site.
- Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensure all data entry and processes comply with company policies, safety regulations, and contractual requirements. Document project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies within the system.
- Collaboration: Liaise with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure all parties are aligned with project goals and the ERP system serves as the single source of truth for project data.
Your profile
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), Construction Management, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required.
- Experience: Proven experience in a project coordination or site management role, preferably within the EPC or construction industry. Prior hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Insite LMS, Synchro, MS Dynamics, or industry-specific construction ERP solutions) is essential. (10 -15 years overall experience and 5 years of relevant experience)
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in relevant ERP modules for construction management.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- Strong computer skills, especially in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools.
