Job Summary
Accelis Materials Plus is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate pricing and lead times while providing exceptional customer service. You will play a key part in converting customer inquiries into sales, building strong relationships, and supporting the growth of both target and emerging accounts.This position requires strong organizational skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to negotiate effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels
- Prepare, issue, and follow up on quotes for a wide range of products
- Convert customer inquiries into orders while maximizing sales opportunities
- Process sales orders, returns, credits, and debits accurately and efficiently
- Provide product knowledge and technical support to customers
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with purchasing/management to address supply concerns
- Resolve customer service issues to ensure satisfaction and long-term loyalty
- Build and grow customer relationships, developing accounts into repeat business
- Enter and manage scrap return orders as required by distribution channels
- Stay informed on competitor products, pricing, and market trends
- Support quality-related initiatives and ensure compliance with company procedures
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Travel occasionally as needed to support business objectives
- Maintain and enhance knowledge of company products, services, and processes
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency with computer systems and order entry platforms
- Prior experience in a customer-facing or phone-based role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–2 years of inside sales or account management experience
- Proven ability to sell, negotiate, and close business with customers
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of industrial or metal products (highly preferred)
- Previous experience in the metals industry is a strong asset

Job Compensation
Hiring range: $60,000-$75,000
