Your responsibilities

As Managing Director of thyssenkrupp Materials Trading Tianjin Co., Ltd. in Tianjin you are part of the global leadership team and responsible for the overall business success of the company with 10 employees

You are responsible for the commodity and steel trading business in China and to drive successful cross-regional collaboration with customers, suppliers and our group companies globally

In strong cooperation with the local CFO, you identify growth opportunities, ensure the efficiency and profitability of business activities, and implement successful risk management

You lead a high-performing team, create a respectful corporate culture, a motivating work environment, and promote employee development

Your leadership skills are defined by transparent communication of company goals and strategies, as well as the establishment of clear performance standards and expectations

You ensure compliance with country-specific and company internal regulations, as well as legal requirements at all times

You report to the global Chief Executive Officer of thyssenkrupp's international trading business headquartered in Germany

Your profile

Your Profile

You have several years of experience in commodity trading (raw materials and finished products) in a leadership role, such as Vice President, Sales Director or Sales Manager

You enjoy operational trading activities in an international environment with a hands on mentality and proven success in developing companies

You have in-depth knowledge of risk hedging and stay up to date with current market developments, and country-specific market regulations

Your leadership qualities are characterized by cooperation, motivation, and assertiveness, always acting with respect and as a role model

You remain calm and composed even in challenging situations, demonstrate strong negotiation skills and are confident in communicating with internal and external stakeholders at various levels

In addition to a high level of self-motivation, you exhibit strong performance orientation combined with reliability

You are willing to relocate to China, open for international business trips,and fluent in written and spoken English

Step 1
