Aufgaben
The Crusher Repair Specialist is responsible for providing specialized mechanical analysis and repair services on crushing equipment primarily at cement plants. This is done either directly or through customer or contractor personnel. Crusher Repair Specialist makes recommendations regarding installation, maintenance, and repair service of crushers (and other equipment as appropriate) in order to ensure optimal performance and service life of customer equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site repair services of crushing equipment e.g., Jaw crushers, cone crushers, hammer crushers, roll crushers, impact crusher and similar primarily installed in cement plants.
- The analysis and repair of other industrial equipment as appropriate that is used in cement processing including grinding mills, rotary kilns, and roller mills.
- Perform on-site measurements and inspections to evaluate equipment condition.
- Analyze measurement data and inspection results to develop recommendations regarding repair and maintenance of equipment.
- Prepare written reports, for customer use, that detail measurement and inspection results and provide the basis for parts and service recommendations.
- Meet with customer representatives, such as engineers or plant managers, to discuss equipment conditions and provide recommendations regarding replacement of parts, scheduled maintenance and/or repair needs.
- Guide and advise others (customer or contractor personnel) in performing equipment installation, inspection, and maintenance.
- Ensure that Company safety policies, including all procedures, rules and regulations, are adhered to at all times.
- Visit customer sites to maintain and improve customer relationships together with Sales staff.
- Assist with Service proposal work for Advisor and Supervisory activities.
- Write Service Reports for customers.
- Develop work procedures to repair, disassemble and assemble equipment for future use.
- Prepare and submit job required paper records (timesheets, expense reports etc.)
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position will have no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Profil
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering discipline and 3 years’ experience, or 10 years
related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MSHA trained and knowledge of MSHA regulations are preferred.
Travel Demands:
- Approximately 80% travel.
- Candidate must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
- A valid passport is optional.
- This position requires extensive planned and on-call travel throughout the United States. Travel outside the United States including South America, Canada, and Caribbean Islands, may be required but is not routine.
