Your responsibilities

Como Ingeniero(a) de Costos y Valor, serás responsable de identificar e implementar oportunidades de optimización de costos en componentes y sistemas mecánicos a lo largo de todo el ciclo de vida del producto.

Brindarás soporte a las áreas de Ingeniería, Compras y Ventas mediante análisis de costos transparentes, cálculos de costos objetivo (should-cost), estudios comparativos de mercado (benchmarking) y evaluaciones de costos de proveedores.

Actividades clave:

  • Realizar análisis detallados de costos y cálculos de costos objetivo (should-cost) para componentes y ensambles mecánicos.

  • Analizar procesos de manufactura, como maquinado, forja, estampado, fundición a presión y sinterizado, entre otros.

  • Desarrollar y mantener modelos de costos para diferentes tecnologías de manufactura.

  • Evaluar los costos de los proveedores y cuestionar sus cotizaciones con base en análisis técnicos y económicos.

  • Apoyar las decisiones de abastecimiento y las negociaciones con proveedores mediante información transparente y fundamentada sobre los costos.

  • Realizar estudios comparativos (benchmarking) y talleres de análisis de valor.

  • Identificar oportunidades de reducción de costos durante el desarrollo del producto y la producción en serie.

  • Apoyar las actividades de cotización a clientes mediante análisis que permitan ofrecer costos competitivos.

  • Colaborar estrechamente con las áreas de Ingeniería, Compras, Ventas y Calidad.

  • Presentar los resultados de los análisis de costos a la gerencia y a los equipos de proyecto.

    • Your profile

    • Estudios: Ingeniería Mecánica, Ingeniería de Manufactura, Ingeniería Industrial o carrera técnica afín.

    • Experiencia: Mínimo 5 años en posiciones similares de Ingeniería de Costos, Ingeniería de Manufactura, Ingeniería Industrial, Compras, Calidad o funciones técnico-comerciales. Deseable experiencia en la industria automotriz.

    • Conocimientos:

      • Análisis de costos y cálculo de costos objetivo (Should-Cost).

      • Procesos de manufactura: maquinado, forja, estampado, fundición a presión, sinterizado, entre otros.

      • Desarrollo y mantenimiento de modelos de costos para diferentes tecnologías de manufactura.

      • Evaluación y análisis de costos de proveedores.

      • Análisis y validación de cotizaciones de proveedores.

      • Negociación con proveedores y soporte a decisiones de abastecimiento (Sourcing).

      • Benchmarking y análisis de valor.

    • Programas de cómputo:

      • Herramientas de análisis de datos y costos.

      • Manejo de herramientas de análisis y elaboración de presentaciones.

    • Idioma: Inglés fluido, oral y escrito.

    • Disponibilidad para viajar: 10 % - 20 %.

    • Habilidades:

      • Pensamiento analítico y orientación a datos.

      • Comunicación efectiva y habilidades de presentación.

      • Capacidad para cuestionar y validar supuestos de costos.

      • Negociación y gestión de relaciones con proveedores y otras partes interesadas.
