Your responsibilities
Position Summary: Perform physical operations of a machining center. Organize workflow and plan machining sequences. Meet inspection requirements for compliance to drawings and specifications. This is a 1st shift position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Through monitoring and measurement, assure that products meet customer expectations
- Plan machining by having understanding of assets and related equipment
- Understand all GD&T requirements for any given process
- Machine setup along with program downloading and editing
- Asset knowledge of Fanuc or Siemens interface and the knowledge to navigate the control to improve operations
- Understanding of tooling, knowledge of turning and drilling tools
- Maintain work cell to premium standards
Education and Skill Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous machining experience and practices
- Blueprint and GD&T knowledge
Export Control: This position requires access to exported-controlled technical data or technology. Employment is contingent upon thyssenkrupp's ability to obtain any required export authorization from the appropriate government agency or agencies.
