Your responsibilities

The Billing and Data Management Specialist is responsible for the comprehensive review and validation of electricity and gas bills, the analysis of billing and accounting-related data, and ongoing collaboration with customers, energy providers and business partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verifying the accuracy of electricity and gas bills from technical, formal and accounting perspectives
  • Analyzing billing data and identifying discrepancies, inconsistencies and errors
  • Resolving differences and discrepancies with customers, energy providers and internal stakeholders
  • Recording reports, discrepancies and comments in customer systems
  • Collecting, verifying and forwarding data on meter readings and energy consumption
  • Processing tasks related to energy supply points, including registrations and deregistrations, as well as maintaining master data and meter readings
  • Collaborating with customer service representatives, municipal agencies and energy platform administrators
  • Preparing reports, analyses and evaluations for customers and internal teams
  • Monitoring the proper execution of billing processes and ensuring that assigned tasks are completed on time

Your profile

  • Fluent German and English language skills
  • Ability to analyze large volumes of data
  • Accuracy, thoroughness, and a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Very good Excel skills
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP or comparable solutions) is a plus
  • Strong communication skills when interacting with customers and business partners
