At thyssenkrupp Materials NA we’re looking for a reliable and safety-minded Saw Helper to join our warehouse operations. If you're someone who enjoys working with your hands, operating machinery, and being a critical part of production, this could be the perfect fit.
🔧 What You'll Be Doing:
- Sort, stack, clean, wash, and inspect materials to keep production flowing smoothly
- Assist in order filling, packaging, and completing paperwork accurately
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and other material-handling equipment
- Support machine operators with key tasks to ensure efficient workflow
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Report equipment issues promptly and help maintain tools in top condition
- Pitch in where needed and help train new team members
- Follow all safety protocols and lean manufacturing practices
- Work directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery
📌 What You Bring to the Table:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a warehouse or industrial setting
- Forklift experience
- Basic math, reading, and computer skills
- Able to lift up to 70 lbs regularly
- Comfortable using hand-held measuring tools and scanning devices
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
