Job Summary
This individual will oversee the daily control of product order processing from reviewing and scheduling production orders by processing station. This individual will be responsible for scheduling orders to maximize productivity and equipment utilization.Job Description
We are hiring on 2nd shift paying $24-$26 per hour!
Key Accountabilities:
- Control of production order processing (Review and control warehouse activity monitor)
- Display Bin Stock per Material & Warehouse Stock
- Create picking lists/Set up note
- Job Planning (Capacity Planning)
- Summarize several order items to a job (nest production orders)
- Planning machine utilization (scheduling and release production orders)
- Release non processed pick tickets
- Cancel goods receipt note (MIGO)
- Inspection and determine disposition of return commodity (customer goods returned)
- Inventory Adjustment
- Inventory
- Pre-inventory preparation
- Analyzing and adjusting inventory differences.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Basic math and reading skills obtained by a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Interpersonal skills to communicate with plant manager, sales staff, and warehouse personnel.
- Possess the ability to understand equipment and tolerances.
- Warehouse experience with forklift, packing and measuring.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2-3 years previous supervisory experience in a related field.
- Posses the knowledge of metals handled in regard to proper staging, processing, packaging, and shipping
- First aid and CPAR training
- Exposure to labor relations, safety programs, ISO standards, Lean practices and sale functions.
- This individual must also possess good leadership qualities and the ability to build an effective team as well as be an effective team member.
